Dr. Danielle Enfield specializes in the assessment of neurodevelopmental and psychiatric conditions in children, adolescents, and adults with experiencing symptoms of ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, mood, behavioral and personality disorders, as well as a variety of other conditions. She uses specialized psychological assessments, only available to clinical psychologists, to provide the most accurate, helpful, and authoritative reports about the psychological conditions her patients are facing.
Dr. Enfield earned her Masters and Doctorate degrees as a graduate of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Irvine, California. She came to love the field of Psychology after completing a volunteer internship with a non-profit that helped people return to health after psychological crisis during her time as an undergraduate at the University of Arizona.
Dr. Enfield completed her doctoral training with the state of California, where she gained valuable experience in crisis intervention and rehabilitation for those with mild to severe psychiatric and neurocognitive disorders. She then focused on children and adolescents at the Child Guidance Center in San Diego, where she completed psychological assessments with those who were identified to be “at risk” for oppositional behaviors and/or on the autism spectrum. She worked closely with parents, teachers, and aides and provided recommendations to appropriately accommodate the child to better excel in school and at home.
Dr. Enfield has training and experience in evidence-based psychotherapies including Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She specializes in conducting behavioral health and psycho-social assessments for use in determining diagnoses and treatment planning.
